Wow, an amazing home to work on. For this roof we had to replace all the way down to the plywood. Here at Xterior we always ensure that things are done correctly and safely. With older home such as these replacing the plywood is common and should be done when needed. We also relined the Yankee Gutters with new EPDM. It is so important to keep the home original to it's era and that is why the homeowner wanted to keep the Yankee Gutters. After we installed new plywood and used the ice and water shield. After that we installed new Owens Corning Duration shingles in the historic color of Estate Gray. Such an awesome home to work on.
